Besides all the old and new meteorites, sales and trades, the Munich show is always a great place to socialize with fellow collectors, and to talk about our favorite subject. They offer , ranging from a fruity Weizen to a chocolate-coloured ale.

On Saturdays, their in-house brewery butcher prepares delicacies for visiting punters — Leberkäse and various types of sausage are all made fresh. For me all I can say is that I will not hesitate to return when next in this part of town.

The Rum Fruit Cake is a nice and relatively light cake. Light because there's not butter neither in the chocolate sponge nor in the filling. The arrival in Vienna during Christmas time is always fantastic. Look at this wonderful Christmas tree in front of the station!!. My train from Bologna was 3 hours delayed for fliegerbräu arrival in Vienna, so I missed my connection. Now that there's also a shopping mall and a food hall, I couldn't stop wandering around and doing some sales shopping as well. Fortunately we had a warm evening and were able to use the fine external beer garden at the back of the restaurant but internally not a lot seems to have changed from what I could see except for perhaps the removal of some of the previous aviation memorabilia and decoration. Spent a week in Munich with friends and this was the only place we ate at more than once. Their ingredients are entirely local — with hops from the Hallertau and malt and barley from Swabia. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful.
